Connection setup

Step 1 of 7

Create a project

Open Google Cloud, name your project Unlikora, and click Create.

Open Google Cloud ↗

A project keeps this app’s Google connection settings together. Use the same project throughout this guide.

  1. Open the link above and sign in with your Google account.
  2. In Project name, enter Unlikora. For a personal project, choose No organization if offered.
  3. Click Create. When it finishes, choose that project using the project selector at the top of Google Cloud.

You should see your project name in Google Cloud’s top bar. If you already have a project for this app, select it instead.

Use the same Google project throughout. These steps configure the app for its website owner; ordinary visitors use the site’s saved connection.

Help & privacy

Your choices, explained

Everything combines the comments and video likes loaded into this session. My comments uses imported comment links. Comment likes opens Google’s activity controls because the YouTube API cannot remove them.

Keep a record

Export before removal if you want a copy. Deleting a comment is permanent; the export is a record, not a restore feature. A removed video like can be added again manually.

Dates, limits & progress

Dates filter comment posting dates. The API doesn’t expose when you liked a video, so date filters hide video likes. Each scan can return at most 1,000 liked videos; remove a batch and scan again for more. API quotas apply. Keep this app open and your screen awake. Stop takes effect after the current item finishes.

Your privacy & Google permissions

This app calls Google directly and keeps activity and access tokens in memory. It has no analytics or third-party activity database. Google’s broad YouTube permission is required for deleting comments and changing video ratings. To fully revoke access, use your Google account connections.

Desktop & Android

Use a current browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, or Android. Where your browser supports it, choose Install app or Add to home screen. Installation availability varies by browser. This is a web app, not a native desktop installer or Android APK. Live Google actions need an internet connection and an authorized HTTPS address, or localhost for desktop development.
